The short version

Word Gym has no accounts and never asks for your name, email, or contacts. We collect pseudonymous gameplay analytics tied to a random install identifier, and the free mobile version shows ads through Google AdMob. That's it.

What we collect

• Gameplay analytics — events such as games played, words scored, features used, and session length, sent to Google Analytics with a randomly generated install ID (a UUID created on your device). This ID is not linked to your identity and contains no personal information.
• Advertising (free mobile version only) — ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's policy. Where consent frameworks apply and no consent is given, ads are served non-personalized. Purchasing "Remove Ads" ($0.99) removes interstitial ads permanently. Desktop versions contain no ads.
• Purchases — payments are processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
• Game Center / Play Games — if you use leaderboards or achievements, Apple or Google process that data under their own privacy policies. Sign-in is optional and only triggered when you open those features.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no email collection, no contact access, no location tracking.
• We don't sell personal data.
• Multiplayer room codes are transient and not linked to any identity.

Data sharing

Analytics and advertising data is processed by Google (Google Analytics, Google AdMob) as described above. We share data with no other third parties.

Data retention & your choices

Analytics are retained under Google Analytics' standard retention settings. The install ID can be reset at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app, which unlinks all previous analytics. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

Children

Word Gym is a word game suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the analytics identifier is random and anonymous, and no profile is ever built.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
